WHAT WE ARE SEEKING: DESIGNER/PROJECT MANAGER:

Our studio is currently seeking a focused and intrapreneurial Designer w/ superior Project Management skills. As a Project Designer, you will partner with our clients, contractors, and internal team to ensure overall project success. Vital to this position is agency and autonomy, as you will be responsible for project team organization, design documentation, and consultant coordination. You will partner with the Founding Architect and Draftsperson to ensure overall project success through generating project guiding principles, design presentations, and leading design decision-making.

WHAT WE NEED: CRITICAL (HARD) SKILLS:

● Bachelor’s degree in Architecture

● 8+ years of experience in residential architecture

● 3+ years managing residential projects and staff

● Commercial project management a serious plus

● Measuring and drafting existing conditions

● Drafting and modeling schematic design concepts through construction documents

● Translate Project Architect's sketches into digital formats

● Preparing sample boards and fixture selections for client review

● Assist project manager with client meeting preparations and material specifications

● Proficiency in and Revit, AutoCAD & SketchUp (*We are currently transitioning from AutoCAD

and SketchUp to Revit, so proficiently in Revit is a huge plus)

● Experience with building and zoning code research and interpretation

○ Collaboration on building and zoning code analysis

● You seek out opportunities for design collaboration

● You are not afraid to have a little fun when creating great design

● Consistency in meeting deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

● Critical thinking and Organizational skills
